This bug has been annoying me for weeks, but here’s a “report”.
Every single time I use the carousel to browse my extras, it eventually glitches back to the first item. I’m posting a picture to show the carousel (mostly because it took me some time to find the word for this layout… )
Is this a known bug?! It’s driving me crazy. I like watching extras on a smaller screen while doing chores.
(I deleted a screenshot here since the bug has been fixed and there were reviews and usernames from other users. I didn’t want to ““expose”” them for no good reason.)
It’s maybe similar to the bug where you try to change artwork. Any vertical movement resets the overlay and resets where you are in the horizontal scroll progress.
OMG! Seems similar, although it’s on Android. Also, vertical movements don’t seem to trigger anything on my side.
Oh… I just looked at your GIF and it seems way worse for you. I need to try the artwork carousel, but it was similar to my experience. (Not as sensitive as in your GIF)
Hey folks, just curious if this is still happening to you? Got an update this evening to version 2026.10.1 and now it’s way worse for me ahah! If I try to change posters the horizontal scrolling is not just resetting but worse it seems to just navigate the whole page verticaly instead. Sometimes it will also freeze the app instead and if navigate away from the app and comeback things are back to normal. This seems to be updating only for posters management for me.
I rebooted my server and clear both my phone and tablet cache, but same thing is still happening while it wasn’t this week do pretty sure the update broke something. Thanks!!
The poster/artwork issue has been fixed in the 2026.11.0 beta version. The issue mentioned in this post is related to the extras, which I couldn’t recreate on iOS.
[iOS][Android] Horizontally swiping on Manage Artwork screen causes vertical scrolling and can close the menu.
Have you tried to recreate the extras issue mentioned in the original post? I tried and couldn’t on a couple different versions, so wondering if it’s Android only, or maybe something else is causing it.
OK. This has been almost entirely fixed in Version 2026.11.0. Thanks devs. Seems fine to me on my end.
Obviously, someone at Plex thought that implementing some kind of hidden “back to top” feature would be neat: One can easily go back to the start of a carousel by quickly swiping in that direction.
They improved the sensitivity, but you can still trigger the “shortcut” if you go a bit hyperactive while browsing backward. (Browsing forward seems perfectly fine.)
