Alright, I did some testing. Unfortunately not great news.

Chapters still aren’t showing up when trailers are enabled (haven’t tested with pre roll clip).

Hmm, maybe it is working. I let a trailer actually play (instead of skipping forward) and it showed me chapters as a reward. Going to try with more than one trailer now.

Ok, after some more testing it just seems that it’s still very hit or miss when trailers are enabled. Sometimes they work. Sometimes they dont.

If you scroll along the chapters and back again (say, from chapter 1 to 5 and the 5 to 1) some of the chapter images will disappear.

There was a further edge case where chapters weren’t showing when navigating between play queue items, it was possibly related to the trailer/pre-roll cases. I believe I’ve fixed it for good this time :persevere:

The fix should in the beta for version 6.8 in a few weeks.

I don’t have trailers enabled. Just normally playing a movie, pressing down to show chapters of that movie and then scrolling from chapter 1 to 10: chapters will show correctly while going from 1 to 10 but when you then scroll through chapters from 10 to 1 then odd thumbnail of a chapter will disappear. This can be repeated each time and the same issue will occur.

Is this the issue you have fixed ?

@Afullmark that bug is unrelated to the original so it hasn’t been investigated at all.

I’m able to reproduce it though so I’m creating a bug report.

The fix for the chapter hub not loading in the cases outlined by @Andrroid should be resolved in the latest beta.
