Fixing Collection organization?

I have everything in collections to save space and easier organization (godfather, star wars etc…) But I want some other collections like Christmas, IMDB Top 100, Favorite Movies, Superhero. However, if something is in Star Wars it is hidden, but when you add it to IMDB Top 100 it is now shown…

So I want my library to look like this https://i.imgur.com/3p7bP4y.jpg. But when I make an IMDB Top 100 Collection, it does this https://i.imgur.com/8aHj2zw.jpg

On all the collections I have “Hide Items in this collection” checked. But for this one I have to change it to “Show this collection and its items” https://i.imgur.com/bROZdZ1.png or the other movies like American Beauty will disappear and only be in the collection.

I want the non collection movies to be in the full movie list and the collection. However, I also want the movies that are already in other collections to stay in those collections and be a part of the new collection.

I don’t think that option is available. a movie can only follow one rule afaik. In my tests it always shows the item if one collection it is in says to show it.
