FLAC files with CUE?

First post.  Just bought Plex, lifetime pass, and I love how it organizes my movie collection.  But seeing how my music collection is 90% single flac files with external (& embedded) CUE files, this really is disappointing.

I'm not interested in ripping two or three different ways when one will work.  I prefer a single file to keep the gaps intact, and it can act as an archive to re-create the original CD as well as play directly from it.  Foobar and XBMC work fine, as does GoldenEar on my iPhone.

To those who prefer separate files, have at it.  I refuse to submit to the sound-byte generation mentality.  I prefer my albums intact.

Please Plex Gods, add this feature!

I agree should be part. I was surprised is not after this big recent update especially in the music part. Isn't?

+1 for single track/album [embedded cue] support, please!

+1000 for FLAC + CUE support

Will cue+flac or wav ever be suported?

This is really a show stopper for me. I’d like to use plex mainly for transcoding my flac library to the IPhone. There seems no better alternative for that purpose rather than using my slow Synology and the DS audio app.

I would like to see it as well. It’s very simple. Please guys.

Anther vote. This is also essential for my LPs that I’ve digitized.

Another vote for embedded CUE support. My collection is in WavPack, but I’d be willing to convert to FLAC if CUEs work there.

If this still doesn’t exist I may take it up as a summer project :stuck_out_tongue: It looks like everything is on GitHub.

I think the big issue might be that Plex assumes: Track = File. So even a custom scanner (or editing the existing one) might not be able to work around that. Hopefully I’m wrong about that

Thumbs up here

Another vote here, this is essential.
