Flinging and UPNP questions

Server Version#:1.32.1.6999
Player Version#:1.68.2.3746-7601b337

Hi, I like Plex very much due to the simplicity of use even though it is very complex. But I am running into problems when I probe the depth.
I am running several Windows PC with Plex Player as well as Plex Server and I use it mainly for my music library. Basically I have one playback PC hooked to the DAC/amplifier with an USB cable that plays music from another PC that is my server. I also use a third PC laptop sometimes.
I would like to be able to use my laptop from my listening position, flinging music to the playback PC.
Flinging problem: My Windows computers are not shown as players. They can’t find each other. I have read the trouble shooting information but it gets fast too complicated for my understanding. What I can see is that this adress can’t be seen on my pc even though one of the servers is on the same pc : server.local.ip.address. All PCs are on the same network either wired or wireless.
Thank you for any help

UPNP: My wish is to play directly from the server PC to the UPNP enabled amplifier using my laptop as control. I can see the amplifier on the network from within the router. I have enabled DLNA in Plex. But I have no idea how to make them find each other and how to make this work. Greatful for any help.

Thank you very much

Supported Plex Companion Apps

See the list of supported apps.

Plex Desktop and Plex Web work as controllers, not receivers. Both Plex HTPC and Plexamp will work as receivers. Hopefully one will fit your needs.

With DLNA, you cannot control the amplifier from a Plex app.

You would need a separate app that controls the amplifier, letting it browse the media on the Plex server via DLNA.

Thank you very much for your kind answer. I wonder if JRiver will be able to access the Plex library. I prefer the Plex library handling to JRiver.
Thanks again
