Folder Icons ???

Is there a way to use folder icons for movies instead of the grey ones supplied?

I, like most have movie files in a “movie name” folder. It seems Plex doesn’t want that organization and wants everything is one big folder mess?

Plex does not support having custom images when viewing ByFolder.

That kinda bytes. Everything looks so slick until you move to folder view then you might as well be on command line… any plans for an enhancement?

I agree, I have most of my movie folders separated by artist and a folder icon would make it a bit easier to quickly identify.

Plex doesn’t discuss what’s on the roadmap. There is a feature request for this, but doesn’t look too popular. Please vote if this is of interest to you.

Custom Images in place of Folder Icon

I use Plex for my home movies as well as for my collection of Disney animated shorts form the 40’s - 60’s I have both collections organized in folders. It would be great if I could specify an image to be used in place of the folder icon when browsing by folder in Plex Player (Also to set the default to the folder view) Sort of like the poster shown for a TV season.
