There’s already an existing feature suggestion to allow (manual) creation of smart playlists based on what folder a file is in (however no votes so far).
There’s also a feature suggestion asking to automatically create collections based on a movie’s parent folder (as per your description)
Unless you have something totally different in mind I’d be in favor of closing your suggestion in order to avoid distracting votes. You could instead vote in one of the existing posts.
