Use case: I have a folder for kids videos. It has a subfolder for videos from a school he goes to. That folder has subfolders, one per class, each containing several videos.
I’d like to be able to easily create a playlist by hand by adding the top-level folder or its subfolders to a regular playlist.
I’d also like to be able to create a smart playlist by having folder selection as a filter criterion, rather than all the metadata ones for movies.
Suggested improvements:
- when browsing folders, shift-click on a folder opens a new browser window, rather than starts a selection. It works fine for items, just not for folders. Please allow selecting folders and add them to a playlist, by recursively adding content.
- when creating a Custom filter, add a filter type for folder or directory, and allow choosing a parent folder
