I’ve used Infuse for years to play my movies on an Apple TV… as such, they’re all nicely sorted into folders to group Trilogies or other movie groups together and I’ve got cover art for each of those folders. In Infuse, the folder cover art shows up perfectly… Plex gives me dull grey folder icons instead. Am I missing something or does that functionality simply not exist?
Plex doesn’t use folders to structure the library.
If you want to group movies together, create a Collection.

So, in short, I’m not missing something and there’s no way to get folder cover art to display on Plex as of yet… bummer. Creating “collections” makes for a lot of unnecessary work unfortunately that’s already done in the file folders…
