Hi there! I’am using plex.tv with android mobile app and really miss a folder list view for browsing my content. Its possible to set folder view for the root, but when I switch to a subfolder, view is switchted to big icons but text of content isn’t shown fully. Would be nice, have a simple list view with possibility sort content by name, date and something like that.
Specially when I browse my content over android auto, it would made it much more easier for me, finding right content for playing.
Any opinion about that? Is there maybe a tracker where I can submit my feature request?
Unfortunately, this has been a bug ever since they “implemented” the list view option. It’s like they didn’t complete testing and decided to implement it in an update anyway. Multiple people have posted about this, but it has been ignored unfortunately.
What a pity! It wouldn’t be a big deal at all and it would probably make some people happy!
Is there another good contact I can turn to? Bug tracker for example?
Plex doesn’t seem to have an official way to report bugs. They say to post bugs in the forums, but a lot of the bugs go ignored, or we have no clue if they are currently working on a particular bug.
I’m having the same issue, and it’s extremely frustrating–makes viewing family photos on the TV almost impossible, which is mostly what we used Plex for.
Fix this, please
