holy cow. well, now i know to plan on some severe downtime if ever put in that position.
What size disk? Any idea on what caused the failure? Was it super old or just one of those things? Catastrophic failure or on its way out so you pulled it?
I guess no disk is so big that 70 hours is reasonable lol. Maybe a 16tb’er ;p

Nope. could be a power failure but it’s on a ups so…who knows.

Not catastrophic cause I can still access/use it but still… PITA nonetheless…
I may end up after this rebuild copy over to my 10tb spare drives… I did have plans for them but I better back this up instead
