I use Android TV, I also have Apple TV, and I also have Samsung Tizen

‏The plex has been tested on all of these systems. The srt subtitles are stacked at the bottom of the film on the black tape.

In the Apple TV you can give priority to the system subtitle configuration and ignore the app’s settings. I do this for all our ATVs so subtitles look exactly the same in every app (Netflix, Prime, ATV+, Plex, etc).

I know that even the version of Plex on Apple TV can’t control where the subtitles are

And don’t forget millions of people around the world use Android TV
and Samsung Tizen

And plex for years wouldn’t want to do that to us

So don’t give us subtitle fonts that are selected

Also, we cannot control the edge style of subtitle
