I would like the option to adjust the subtitles a little more than what’s available.
I have a newly setup:d hometheater and the subtitles in Plex are appearing outside the screen when viewing a movie in 2.35:1 or 2.40:1 . I know there are option to move subtitles to the middle or top but that just doesnt do it for us.
There’s an article from 2017 ( Customizing Subtitle appearance in PMP and Plex Player for Windows/Mac and Plex HTPC )where this was explained on how to edit on your PMP in windows, but no config is available like that for Android TV.
My suggestion is that somewhere in the UI options that corresponds to what is explained in the article. Even a thing such as “Move subtitles X % from bottom” would solve all the problems and since you can already move the subtitles to different positions of the screen, you already have subtitle movement implemented within PMP, so extending that functionality would be great.
I suppose it’s fair to say this is a duplicate given you already commented in the existing suggestion on this topic? In that case I’ll close this thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes/attention.
