Hey, so i've been doing a lot of reading and I have set my subtitle settings to "shown with foreign audio" but my forced subtitles that I have set for foreign speaking in my movies still will not play. HOW DOES THIS GET FIXED???
If we are paying for a service then i find it disheartening that this has been an ongoing complaint/problem since the start of this thread in 2011... could somebody please help me out here???
It works for others, so lets try and figure out why it does not work for you. Lets start with this:
1. Move out the movie from your movies folder, to a folder which Plex does not monitor.
2. Then refresh the movie section so the movie disappears. Make sure it it can't be found in the library any more.
3. Go back to the "home screen" in the web client and click the gear icon up to the left and choose "Empty Trash".
4. When that is done, choose "Clean Bundles" from the same gear icon dropdown.
5. Then move back the movie to the Movie folder that Plex monitors, and refresh the library so the movie gets picked up.
6. Now the movie will get added with the new rule set. If the metadata is correct.
If this does not work then I need to see the Media Info XML.
