I like the idea of the textual online indicator but don’t know how to apply JS to this (I don’t know JS period) so I managed to do something similar using CSS after a lot of trial and error.

That looks a lot better than what @vanstinator done with javascript imo

Looks better having the Online text under the picture than next to your name.

Great work

Although I do prefer the colour scheme that @vanstinator has [-(

Oh look, now I can have it under the image at the topic list.

It’s all good. :-bd

Can you center it ?

Talking of colour schemes - i am at the moment preferring the Classic forum for Plex style because i am finding MovieFan;s colour scheme too overpowering and I also prefer the shading of already seen topics rather than the bright orange bold text for not seen topic posts

Love the Online green text

Didn’t notice it was off. Centered now.

When I have time, I’ll probably come up with a lighter theme, maybe something with earth tones for a more neutral look.

And how did you did that? The suspense is killing me.

It’s in my style. Look at the very bottom.

Oh, duh.

I shamelessly borrowed it for my style.

Equally shameless.

I thought I sensed a disturbance in the force. And I’ve got the online status under images now too with my JS script, I just haven’t released it yet. I’ve got something else cooking, hoping to show it off either tonight or tomorrow. Nice job though! I like it  Didn’t think to try with CSS.

Very much looking forward to this.

Keep up the good work Sir

I actually didn’t know you could create content in CSS. Something new every day.

I brightened the green to 67ff5d and dropped the font-weight to normal on the div, but not the anchor tag. I think it’s more visible and looks better.

I didn’t either. But I’ve started working with actually replacing large sections of the DOM with JS so I’m a bit past using CSS at the moment.

EDIT: I have no idea why I quoted this…

@beckfield Where did your PlexPass logo go while your “Online” is visible?

Okay, I’m down to minor little cosmetic tweaks now.

When a Plex Pass member is not online, there is an awkward gap between the avatar and the Plex Pass badge (using vanstinator’s style).

I changed the padding-top on “div.AuthorWrap a.PhotoWrap.Online:after” from 5 to 3, and the ‘top’ value on “.Section-Discussion .Role_PlexPass .MItem.RoleTitle” from 80px to 68px:

The gap between avatar and badge is less noticeable for offline members, but it doesn’t look crowded when the online indicator is present.

I noticed it when I was changing the “Accepted Answer” tag, it was created by CSS as well. Took me a while to figure out how to get it formatted correctly.> @Plexhilarated said:

I was just mentioning this to the devs. I think it is a bug in the forum software. When you edit a post, the PP badge goes away, until you refresh the page.

@Plexhilarated - I think I had pushed the badge down momentarily while I was playing with the distances.

Eagle eye.
