Just find out why the preview was transcoding everything. The option volume boost was set to huge. If it’s not on none it transcodes everything. When i set to none, the direct play start to work again.
I’ll have to check, but that setting should only get applied if the audio is already being transcoded for some other reason. It should not be the cause of the transcode.
Have the same issue when playing 4k video. If Volume boost is on the audio always transcodes. I turned off volume boost and the audio goes back to playing direct play with no transcoding.
