Audio Transcode when Video Transcodes

I have a friend that is trying to stream from me over the Internet. Because my upload speed is so slow he has to transcode the video on a 4K movie down to 1080p but it seems when he does that automatically the audio stream which was direct stream begins to transcode from EAC3 5.1 down to 2 channel AAC. When it does this, the volume is very very low and no amount of playing with the settings appears to fix it.

I also tested this on my home network too. If I manually set the 4K stream to 20 Mbps 1080p then audio automatically transcodes too.

How can I allow the video to transcode but keep the audio as a direct play/stream?

Either that or how can I get it to stop converting down to 2 channel AAC and messing horribly with the volume?

Side note, he has an Apple TV 4K connected to an older Sony Bravia XBR 55" 1080p SDR display and just using the TV speakers. Audio was fine when it direct stream but the minute it transcodes to AAC, volume is super low.

This is to keep the Audio in sync with the video, otherwise, you would get a lip-sync problem.
Audio shouldn’t be too quiet thou… not sure about that.

Apple TV doesn’t have this but it has multi channel boost and none of the settings made much difference. This also occurred on his Fire Stick and now on his Apple TV.
