If liking is done correctly its not needed, in the past it was for sure needed and some upgrade scripts missed it or pointed to an outdated dir as they were not pkg/port based and hence the rc.d script was never up to date.
My suspicious is that this is due to some python dep, those were always troublesome and easy to miss as the build is still successful.
In the “new world” of native agents this will hopefully no longer be an issue.
Please note that I’m not longer working for Plex so I’m simply making assumptions based on experience, but the error could even be somewhere else.
Hi Volts, so I’m having this issue now as well. I installed Plex using this script from a user on the FreeNas boards. I know it does a different install so I can’t find the files to edit you’re speaking of in the post above. I was hoping you could help me sort this out.
