I’ve been sharing my server with friends for a while but as of recently, after upgrading with plexmediaserver_1.13.0.5003-8fcb5b6e5_amd64.deb, anything my friends watch shows up as watched for me. If they watch something halfway it shows up in my “On Deck” with their exact progress.
Any idea what is causing this? It’s driving me nuts because I use my “on deck” for sync so I can pick up where I left off when on the move but now my phone is full of items I hadn’t been watching.
They are using your plex.tv login to access your server?
You should ask them to create a seperate plex.tv account, and invite that to your server.
Are you using the trakt.tv plugin?
If so, you must create a filter in its preferences.

That was it. I installed it a few months ago and did the basics of set up but never came back to it. I had completely forgot that I had it installed when I made this post. Hopefully someone will catch this in the future on a google search and find it helpful!
