Hello, I’m not sure what happened to all my friends that had access to my PMS. All my Plex home friends are unaffected, but regular friends with library access are all gone. If I go into play history for the past few months I can see their usage, and play counts, etc. Is there a way to recover them without having to resend invites? And what caused them to all be removed in the first place?

I tried adding a friend back to the server, and it would just send them and invite.
I tried restoring a backup to a fresh Plex install (a process I have done multiple times so I know it works correctly), and had the same issue, no friends had access. So I don’t think the issue is on the PMS side, but rather the Plex side.
I ended up having a chat with a different friend, and I tried adding them back in, and it worked. No invite, it just added them, and it had all the exclusions already set. Almost like it knew. I tried with a bunch of other friends and same thing, it just added them back in.
But there is a single user that when I add them back in it sends an invite, no matter what.
So it’s not ideal, and its a big PITA if you have a bunch of friends to add back in, but it works…at least so far.
Seems like Plex REALLY messed up on these last few updates. Between the DB bloat (that i got hit with as well) and this…really hard to justify those price increases lol.
