From my poitn of view

Unfortunately, there is also some disappointment in my question. Can’t deny. What courses do you have to take to operate PLEX. PHP, Python … or more? Install and use. That’s how it should be. And then you want money too?
Problems again and again. Server is unreachable, LIVE TV works only conditionally with Enigma2 Box. Connection yes. But, after you have rearranged the wrong channels, you can’t save them. WTF. My HDD does not wake up automatically. Covers are missing and have to be added manually.

I’m ,happy for anyone who has PLEX running smoothly. Egeal how he or she got it to work. But, if I have to become a mechanic to be able to drive my car, then this is the wrong way to go.

Now first of all cancel the PlexPass. I’d rather donate the money than pay for the mess.
Switch from Kodi to Plex for a few advantages? Never ever!

I think you seems to be having issues with Live TV and few Server related issues. If you can elaborate a bit more on those so that others can take a looks and then there is a possibility of fix.

But, if I have to become a mechanic to be able to drive my car, then this is the wrong way to go.

Yeah, that is how it’s been all along, there is no paid dedicated support if you’re referring to that. It’s this forum mods/staff and community people on other places to help one another.

Hi,
I can see you are frustrated with a few elements of Plex. Firstly you will probably need to read some of the Support pages to move in the right direction.

I would starting with naming.

Once your media collection is catalogued correctly, you will see the Plex Magic coming together.

As for your Mac energy settings/ HDD waking etc. You will need to adjust these settings like listed below.

Plex pass features:

https://www.plex.tv/plex-pass/

Supported DVR devices:

https://support.plex.tv/articles/225877427-supported-dvr-tuners-and-antennas/

It looks like there is no support for your device, sorry to say.

I find the Plex solution the best available and it keeps getting better. For myself I built on to Plex with DVR rather than the other way around using a Silicon Dust device. I live in Australia and my EPG works well, I can connect remotely with my Android phone or iPad pro 5G. Locally with other iPads and a 65"LG OLED. It’s feature rich and the family love it. If Plex is not for you, you could try other solutions like Emby or JellyFin but these are not as polished but may allow your Tuner.

Good luck in your search for a suitable solution.

I understand your advice. Thank you for that.
Of course, I can ask all the hints tutorials and forums people for days. But if this is the way to use the PLEX, then it is actually easier with Kodi. And I thought it was the other way around :see_no_evil:
Once again, and please don’t always misunderstand - if you drive a car, and your neighbor lets you use his car because yours is in the garage, wouldn’t you intuitively assume the things you know are there, as you are used to? Would you ask all the Nachbran until you understood that your neighbor’s car works so much differently? You know exactly what I mean. Did I need to know a year ago how to organize all my media to make it work in Plex a year later maybe (!). Intelligent software is the keyword.

use kodi then!

absolutely not, you should familiarise yourself with the differences the car has before using it. every car has its unique differences.

These are then the fine (!) details
