Full screen video on OnePlus 8

I’m not sure if this is a Plex issue or not. I want to use the full screen of my phone (it has a bullet hole camera) but it still cuts the video off on the side. With YouTube I can, by pinching out, zoom to fill and it fills the whole screen (just a black dot where the bullet hole camera is). Is it a OnePlus thing? Plex doesn’t show in the Settings>Display>Advanced>Apps to Display Fullscreen list, does that mean Plex isn’t writing the appropriate coding to allow Android to force it?

Heck I’ve got a local delivery app showing in the list.

Why not Plex?

Just wanted to bump this up and also add, I recently purchased an Oukitel C19 running Android 10 and it does use full screen when Plex is running (has a tear drop camera) and uses the full screen. Any idea if we can get this across the board on all devices?

Any shot at an answer before this gets closed by time lapse?

PlexAmp seems to use the full screen. Why not Plex for Android?

Currently we don’t support displaying behind the cutout, though we are planning on adding support at some point (can’t give you on an ETA on this though I’m afraid).

Thanks @sixones it’s something.
But why did Plexamp get it, before the established player?
