Get it!
While I know this feature has been discussed and requested numerous times here, here and here; this is request to fully integrate trakt into Plex and incorporate many of the things talked about on these various threads into one request.
Upcoming Episodes Calendar Feature/Full Trakt Integration
Here is a list of some of the things that would be included in this full integration of trakt into Plex feature:This is an idea of what it might look like in Plex Web App 2.0. Below are more examples of how this might look.
- Create a trakt account or sign into trakt account from within Plex Web App (with multi-user support) and/or deep integration with myPlex (similar to how Cloud Sync and those external services authorize and work)
- Sync/Scrobble content with trakt (including collections of movies and tv shows)
- Notification icon with drop-down list/calendar showing upcoming episodes airing/broadcasting in top right navbar of Plex Web (this could include links to the content if it already exists in Plex and links to TheTVDb and trakt episode listing page; many possibilities here)
- Dedicated calendar page showing upcoming episodes based on your content from trakt similar to the Announcements page (this could additionally be added to all clients).
- Settings for how trakt works and displays notifications and other trakt content in the Settings section.
- Future non-paramount implementation: Deep integration between myPlex recommendations and trakt recommendations for movies and tv shows.

My Shows Airing page. Note: This is just a straight copy from trakt site; I didn't want to spend the time to writing out the code to make it coincide with the Plex theme. Remember this is just an example and a request for the feature. My Shows Airing.png

For the other Plex clients, besides Plex Web, the implementation of a calendar/upcoming episodes should be just as easy as other have already done this with iOS, Android, XBMC and Windows/Windows Phone.
If you feel that another feature should be included, please post it and I will add it to this original post for others to easily see.
If you really like the idea of this being baked into Plex and feel that this should be a high priority for the Plex Developers, please click on theScreen Shot 2013-12-26 at 9.37.44 PM.png buttons to the right to show them you care and thing this should be added to Plex!
Note: If one knows their Java and HTML5, they could easily make virtually all of this happen for Plex Web through an extension for Safari, Firefox and Chrome.
This would be much better, but I think having it run as part of myplex would be much deeper and better. I wonder if then you could also have it keep track of what you watch on servers shared with you.

I only ask one feature, like in XBMC, to be able to rate my movies and tv shows after I watched them.

Is there any way that I can create movie collections by importing a text or XML file, or does it have to be done manually?

Any way to sync trakt lists to plex and vice-versa? If not will you be adding this feature in the future? Thanks
I would like to Metadata Agent of Trakt.tv we could import (sync) lists to Plex in that same way. So it would not be necessary to add movies one by one and would be an easy way to keep our Trakt+Plex collections (lists) organised (sync) automatically.
Posting to bring this back up, as it's become relevant again with Plex Home breaking Fuzeman/Tester 22's plugin, which had been working great!
It would be great if this was integrated into PMS (even better if rating once watched was added) - the guys developing the plugin have done great work, but it's such a shame for them when advances in the core product break all their hard work.
Trakt 2.0 should be coming along soon too, it really is a great service. Hope Plex can find time to officially support it!
