Any thought about when or if Plex dialogue boxes will be supported on ATV. These are most commonly seen within Channels and, in the Plex iOS client, pop up to provide specific feedback to particular actions. Icefilms uses them extensively, for example.
When the same particular action is carried out on Plexconnect an error screen is the result instead. Usually the action is successful although it appears to the Plexconnect user that something went wrong. The developer of Icefilms, Really Fuzzy, says these dialogues are supported by the Plex APIs and can (should) be coded into Plexconnect.

Well here is one example. This screenshot is a menu from inside Icefilms on Plex iOS that let’s me delete a prebuffered file:

These dialogue boxes are fairly standard in Plex iOS and are used by many channel plugins.
This is what occurs when I select the same delete function from Plexconnect:
So, to clarify, the “item action” menu that has the delete function appears in Plexconnect as a list on it’s own page, but the dialogue box that should appear in response to selecting it throws up the generic iMovie Theatre/Plexconnect error.
And just a note: I am using a test version of Icefilms which has just added prebuffering so it is not in the public version of Icefilms at the moment.
