Gapless Playback on Mac Desktop Client

I listen to a lot of music (e.g., operas) which isn’t intended to have gaps between the tracks, but the Mac Desktop Plex client doesn’t respect this. Please add some kind of setting (perhaps per album) to allow gapless playback.

Check out this existing (generic) suggestion… it has a long history and also a lot of client specific remarks.

There’s also a suggestion specifically asking to bring gapless playback to all clients

Thanks, Tom! I found those, but they were either closed already, or pertained to a different client (i.e., not the new MacOS desktop client). The client I’m using doesn’t seem to have this feature (at least, I can’t find it!).

I came to the forums to see if there was an existing gapless playback setting. Disappointed to find this has been an open topic for many years.

Each album should have the option for Gapless Playback.

Surely this takes priority over the Tidal or Movie integration everyone on Earth has been clamoring for?
