Is there a way you can get the Plex player to play album “gapless”? Say “Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon” NEEDS to be gapless! Is it to do with the ripping?
No, Plex doesn’t support gapless playback.

561 “likes” and countless threads, I’m not holding my breath. I’m sure they have many many other high priority issues but on its face they’re not re-inventing the wheel to add it.
OklahomaGreyBeard you are so right. I now use the Hi FI Cast app from my phone to cast to the Chromecast so that I can listen to live albums without the gaps. I love Plex but this is so damn annoying.
Please, please , please guys add this essential feature. It will make so much difference.

Many other music players are capable of playing back gapless music. It’s really a requisite like fast forward, rewind. The thread above is closed with a cryptic mod comment which says “Gapless playback is not available in some of our clients.” In which clients is it working?
After doing such a great job with videos , this is just sloppy work.
