I am having an issue with DVR recorded shows NOT building video thumbnails.
This presents issues when using my Roku to fast forward through recorded shows or trying to find the point we left off.
I do have generation turned on at both the Plex and library level.
I have also tried the following command lines
/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex\ Media\ Scanner --refresh --force --section 2
/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex\ Media\ Scanner --generate --force --section 2
/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex\ Media\ Scanner --analyze --force --section 2
No joy from any of them
As you can probably tell this is running on a Linux Box
Kubuntu 17.04
16GB of Ram, Quad core i5.
Note that this plex install was migrated from a previous openSuse install on the same hardware (OS issues there) but the uid and gid for plex:plex were kept the same on the new system
plex user home directory is owned by plex:plex
If I end up needing to wipe out everything and rebuild them I am ok with that but am somewhat at a loss as to what to try next.
Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated.
