Please put the genre field back on the TV details screen. A television is large enough to allow people to be able to see useful information (like if a show is a miniseries).
There seems to be a continued push from Plex developers to remove what they have determined is visual noise (this, removing duplicate indicators in Plex Web, our only editor, networks) but is actually useful information. This is supposed to be the “ultimate media app” yet there seems to be a policy to make it as minimalist as possible, not for improved performance but just for the sake of keeping something minimal.
There is plenty of room in the vertical space to the right of the TV show poster to display genres (as well as networks), and we don’t really need the content rating displayed twice.
If there is an end-goal for the TV Show details screen and we are just in a transition, let users know so we don’t clog the forums with issues that are planned to be fixed. (And please don’t respond saying you don’t talk about future things, if you want our help testing you need to tell be more open so we can test and post issues properly).
