Please stop adding clutter like "Rediscover" and "Recently Aired TV"

I’ve loved Plex for a long time but recently you keep adding more and more clutter to the dashboards. I use it on an iPad, on Apple TV and on Plex Home Theater on my media PC. All interfaces have their own issues but there seems to be a steady creep toward adding more “features” that I didn’t ask for and don’t have a way of disabling.

I don’t need a “Recently Aired TV” because I don’t use Plex like that. I don’t need a “Rediscover” or a “Top Rated TV” or a “More in Comedy.” I don’t need a “Recenlty Added Movies” or a “Top Movies in Adventure” I don’t need to discover anything.

I don’t need to discover anything because this is my content that I’ve added myself. I know what I have and I want the minimal number of clicks and swipes to get to my beautiful library.

I’ve seen how you can keep shows from the home screen, and I see how you can set 0 in settings to remove an “On Deck” section. But that’s not enough. I want it to go straight to “All Shows” without having to search around the screen for it.

If you are to continue to add new features can you please provide a method for those of us who prefer a minimal interface to keep it that way?

If anyone else in the community reads this and agree, please add a quick comment and forward or share with a friend so that we can make sure Plex development staff are aware of the community sentiment.

Thank you,
Alex

Right there with you! And it’s also very US centric. “More from NBC”. I don’t care what channel it originally was shown on when I’ve added a series.
