Hello everyone,

I think there are some users out there, me included, that aren’t 100% satisfied with their DVR setup. Therefore I would like to open a thread where we can present our Entertain-Plex-Setup, so others have it easier to start their DVR or to optimize their already working setup.

Without further ado, my setup:

Everything in different docker containers:

-> 94 Channels available (shouldn’t there be more?)

If you want more detailed information about the docker commands just ask me!

Can you share a little more about your firewall / docker port configurations.

I can’t get my plex docker to connect to my tvhproxy docker… drives me insane!

I have all three container created with --net=host and everything worked fine.

Hi Das_Pflanze, I try yo install the THVProxy, but on Plex i cant found the „Tuner“. Need the the TvhProxy a speziell Configuration? I cant found Any manual for that.

Info: tvheadend Works fine, Plex pass activated

Sorry, i totally forgot about that thread. I‘ll try to make a detailed „manual“ how to set this up later this week.

I needed to insert the IP address of the Container with tvhproxy with :5004 as port to get the tuner to show up. When inserted and you pressed „Connect“ or „Verbinden“ the „Continue“ or „Fortfahren“ button is now activated.

Due to my other stuff I have to do I wasn’t able to finish my guide last week.
So here is my UNFINISHED AND NOT NECESSARILY FLAWLESS guide that I’ll try to finish in the following weeks.

But Unfortunately my good 'ol Entertain is going to be EntertainTV in near future…
Do you think it will work with the EntertainTV playlist?

Hey tocotronaut,

so as for now TVHeadEnd won’t support the needed rtp://87.141.215.251@ part of the address. So as I know the usage of EntertainTV in combination with TVHeadEnd isn’t possible. But I think you will still be able to use the “good 'ol Entertain” :wink:

I’ll try to finish my guide in near future.
