Getting error "Cannot retrieve the play queue for this item. Please try again."

So all of a sudden, I can’t play files in Plex from iOS or Apple TV 4. The player tries for a while but always ends up back in the menus with an error stating: "Cannot retrieve the play queue for this item. Please try again."

As far as I know, I haven’t changed anything with my Plex server and I had this error before I just now updated to PMS version 1.2.3.2914. I’ve searched these forums but I can’t find any solution. Playback does start eventually on my Macs using Plex Media Player, but it takes forever to load. Something’s not right.

There are a lot of errors and warnings in the PMS log (attached) which I hoped would get fixed by optimizing the database, but no such luck.

Any ideas how I can get media playback to work again?

I’m not sure it’s related, but there are a lot of errors stating the database is locked.

Nobody? :frowning: This happens seemingly at random still.
