I have set the audiobook library to remember track progress but this only seems to work within plex or plexamp if I am streaming the audio. Once it is downloaded for offline listening when out and about then it no longer recalls the progress and jumps to the start each time you go to the downloads section for offline listening.
I feel that this sort of defeats the purpose of being able to download longer form audio tracks and really limits the utility of the software for me and I think many others feel the same. I am currently using 3rd party app Chronical for android and it does but its not great. Other options on android like Bookcamp are very poor and expensive when I’m already a paying customer for plex.
Is there any chance of support for offline downloaded audiobook listening being added to plex or plexamp in the near future? Failing that a stand alone app? Prologue works well on ios but there is no decent option for android users.
