Hi Plex peeps,
I have been trying at this for ages and just cannot seem to find a solution.
I am trying to get my remote access to work while I have a VPN running on the same computer (MAC) that hosts my plex server.
If i switch off the vpn, then bang, the plex remote access feature works. But, i would like the added security of running the vpn also.
I don’t wanna be caught out playing my media remotely and get pinged for some sort of copyright issue, even though the content is all mine.
PIA offers several open ports on its vpn service, i am trying to work out if this is the solution, but cannot be sure.
It seems both plex and PIA have the capability to do this, but I cant seem to get them both to talk.
Any help would be most welcome. Thanks in advance.
