Getting the resolution output

Hi. I am currently running rasplex 1.6.1 on raspberry pi and I am the happiest person in the world. Rasplex is faster than the native plex apps on most tvs and wow don’t I love the option of choosing skin and layout.

With that said I just wanted to know if you can output the resolution of the video to an arduino. I guess this question is on the borderline of arduino and plex but I thought I would ask here first. So when I select a video I get the resolution mentioned as SD/HD/4K. When I hit play it tells me resolution #### x ****. So I guess all the things are already being managed by plex. I want to output the same thing to an arduino. Can it be done? If so please guide. Thanks. :slight_smile:

you could probably tail if from the logs, grep it to get the resolution and pass it to the program you want

something like tail -f file.log | grep “resolution” might get you were you want
