I have quite a large photo library that includes animated GIFs. No Plex client seems to be able to play back GIFs (Web, Android, iOS). I'd love to see animated GIF support implemented.

Yeah, would also love it for mp3’s. ID3 supports gifs, but no players seem to.
I’ll vote for this purely so that Plex can officially support Nyancat playback.

I would like to get animated GIFs, too - for TV episodes, music artists or just in the photo library.
Please note that there is another feature suggestion for GIFs, so one of them should be closed to avoid splitting votes.
