Hi,
I can't believe I never noticed this isn't possible until now, but it would be very nice to have a global brightness/contrast setting.
The way Plex works right now, as far as I can tell, is that you can adjust brightness/contrast in the actual video player once a video starts, but that change needs to be made each time a video starts (stopping and starting a new video returns the values to "50").
I know you're going to say to just do it on the TV, but I got my TV calibrated and the ISF settings were locked so they can't be messed with. For some reason, through my HTPC, I need to increase the brightness and contrast by just 1-2 to get the test patterns to appear correctly for black/white clipping. I would be super helpful to have this as a global setting or at least remember the change within the player when a different video is played.
I saw mention of this on an old post. No one responded but the original poster said you could go into my guisettings.xml and make that change. I'll give that a try. Just posting that in case anyone else has this problem and needs a fix now.
