As a Plex Pass user, I want Plexamp to feel like a first-class citizen in the Google ecosystem: Google Assistant for hands-free control and Android Auto for a driver-first interface,because that’s where music actually wins: in the car, every day.
Movies are a “home screen” experience; music is a “mobility” experience. Android Auto + Assistant compatibility turns Plexamp into a default daily companion, not an occasional app.
Commutes and drives are repeatable listening moments; owning that context increases daily active use and session continuity.
Google Assistant (or gemini whathever) + Android Auto combination are the channel to make Plexamp the everyday music layer for Plex users, especially Plex Pass subscribers who already value premium experiences and are most likely to adopt and advocate.
