Google Cast audio stuttering on JBL Authentic 300 or JBL Soundbar 500

Hi everyone,

Casting works initially — the devices connect without issues, and playback starts as expected.
However, after about 10–12 seconds, the audio begins to stutter or loop the last 1–2 seconds repeatedly, almost like it’s stuck in a short buffer loop.

This issue occurs on both of my JBL Authentics devices — one connected via Wi-Fi, the other via Ethernet.
Worth noting: I don’t experience any problems when casting from apps like Spotify, Deezer, or YouTube, so the issue seems isolated to specific casting from Plex. No difference if it’s mp3 of flac

I’ve seen a few threads mentioning similar problems, but no confirmed fix or workaround so far.

Has anyone found a solution or heard of a firmware update that addresses this?
