works in edge on same pc. Faults with chrome on android on lan and via outside networks but works fine with android plex app. Worked fine yesterday -happened while I was sleep - woke to this today. power cycled everything - no changes -

Some further info:

Working OK in:
Microsoft Edge Version 91.0.864.59 (Official build) (64-bit)
Firefox Browser Version 89.0.2 (64-bit)

But not working in:
Google Chrome Version 91.0.4472.114 (Official Build) (64-bit).

I disabled Adblock Plus for the LAN Plex page and it worked after that.

Same here with Chrome. Safari worked so I disabled Adblock and hey presto… back in!

Since I am not willing to disable ad blocking, I whitelisted Plex.tv and that fixed it for me. Thank you all for pointing me in the right direction.

For added measure, I went and sent an email to AdBlock Plus asking them to stop blocking Plex.tv since it is not an ad serving domain. I encourage you to do the same. They may ignore one request. They are less likely to ignore multiple requests.

This did not work for me. Rebooted computer. then gt this message. Can’t figure it out. Can get it to kinda run in Edge, just no local files. HELP!!!

Thank you for the solution! Was wrecking my brain as to why it all of a sudden stopped working.

What changed overnight that all of a sudden adblock is breaking App.plex.tv? I don’t mind disabling adblock from that page, but I’m just curious as to why it’s happening.

Edit: I think this may have something to do with Adblock Plus breaking stuff. My Facebook messenger page was also semi broken, not being able to load images I clicked on. Once I disabled adblock plus in Messenger, it worked normally again.

Thanks for this, I’m not sure what changed that Adblock doesn’t like.
I guess Plex might be embedding similar ad trackers in their page or something.
