So ive got a google drive account (g-suit) and downloaded the drive file stream and was wondering which settings i should have to avoid getting the Google API ban? i uploaded 150 movies yesterday to my drive account and when i run the plex library update i got the API ban (pretty annoying).
Are there any methods to update the library without getting banned?
Im on Windows 7
EDIT: The problem seem to be that the meta/library scanner is always active. THis is normally how it looks like in the status section: https://imgur.com/a/PcEyp

This is one of the reasons why using a cloud storage with the regular desktop Plex server is a bad idea.

Well, ive tried the plex cloud option and it was awful. Tons of lag (on 100/ 100mbit connection) and it was impossible to play a movie with subtitles, so this is my only option right now

Thx for the link, but i dont get it. Whats the difference between google drive file stream and netdrive (or any other mount apps?). As soon as the plex scanner starts to scan, the google ban will be active, no matter if im using googles app or any other app like netdrive.
As I understand it, netdrive uses some clever caching mechanism, which buffers those repeated accesses a bit so the ban will not happen (or at least only much later).
