I updated to Shield 6.0 today. Google Assistant works well and can launch Plex, and can play something in Plex by voice, but is not fully integrated. If you Say “Hey Google, Play Coming To America in Plex”, it opens Plex , but then you have to say again “Hey Google, Play” and if it is something that is part way through the box with resume or play from beginning pops up, but now way to choose with voice. Just wish I could play with one command

+1. I’m using voice controls on my Chromecast more and more. I can use voice controls to turn my TV on and off, and play videos or songs from supported apps. I can tell it to launch Plex, but I’d like to be able to tell it to play a certain movie, pause, rewind, etc. Please add more Google Home integration!

+1 just got Google home and loving it as much as I love Plex and the shield. Plex integration would be great so the family can play music from the library on the home speaker. Also I can’t get my pixel XL to “hey Google play xxxx on plex on shield”

Well it’s been a year since the Google Home released. We still don’t have Plex voice control from Google Home. What is going on? I really can’t believe it to be honest.
