With the upcoming change to google photos no longer allowing unlimited upload, it seems like a good opportunity for Plex devs to improve on the photo upload feature that has had requests for improvements for the last 4 years.
I’d like to suggest a feature of a synced google photos backup with a some control of what is downloaded.
• Sync and delete (on google) older than…
• Do not delete favorites
• Keep album structure
This change for google has been consistent news with articles for the last month. Wouldn’t it be nice if Plex made the news as the solution?
If Plex were to sync with google and keep the album structure, it solves what many threads on this forum have been asking for. If it acted as a way to not go over the new 15gb threshold, even better…
