GPIO as Buttons

Hi,

 

First of all, a big WOW for Rasplex, it rock, the best implementation of the best home theatre solution.

 

I wish to use the gpio to control plex.  So I need a bit of information.

 

What I plan to do is to uses 7 io and map them as key :  Esc; left, right, up and down arrows; Enter

 

I have seen a video of somebody doing the same with XBMC.

 

Did any body got the informations, if not, I start documenting it here

I would like to do the same. I am going to use BerryBoot to dual image RasPlex and RetroPie. I have a custom arcade controller I made for RetroPie but would like to use it for RasPlex as well. Has anyone managed to do this yet?
