I am thinking of getting a pi3 to run Rasplex on it.
I do not have any sort of USB keyboard to connect to the Pi to go through the initial set up. Is it possible to do it without a keyboard? I do have a Flirc I could use with a simple remote to give me the arrow keys and enter and I do have plex on my iOS device.
As long as you can copy the files to the SD card then you will be fine. I installed mine via a laptop and a sd card-usb adaptor, plugged it into the HDMI from the TV and was up and running straight away, I didn’t even need the Flirc as the CEC settings picked up the TV remote. No keyboard required throughout the process.
The CEC on my v old Sony Bravia seems to detect RasPlex as the device but does not seem to be able to browse the menus with the remote. I’ve done it with Flirc in the end. Thanks!
