GPU selection for transcoding

There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to pick a GPU if more than one are present. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

Any chance there could be a GPU selection option for plex in the transcoding section for HW transcoding? Currently I have 2 gpu’s an RTX 2070 and p2000. Looks like the new beta release only uses the RTX card, whereas the prior versions used whatever card was assigned as the primary display. I would rather not setup a VM with pci passthrough to the p2000 to get this to work, my only other option would be to build another PC which isnt in my budget right now.
