And server is mine. Is from 2012 Plex pass. And allow downloads it’s active has always has been.
Have you tried signing out and back in? It’s possible the update messed up some of the profile information.

I’m having the same issue. No download option at all. PlexPass owner, server updated, etc. Hoping this is fixed soon. That is my primary use of Plex - download and play content while traveling.

Plex iOS & iPadOS latest update (v2025.13.0(1025) still don’t show download button.. three updates and no fix. Don’t understand why this issue not been fixed yet.
What are you trying to download? The app doesn’t yet support downloading an entire tv show or season. Right now it’s just individual episodes and movies.
The download button don’t show anywhere. Movies and tv shows. If you have a Plex pass it shows. But on grandparents Plex pass acoounts it should appear on non Plex pass accounts when you share content with them. And don’t show. Grandparents accounts it’s accounts that the Plex pass was bought before 2022. And when sharing with non Plex pass accounts it should show the download button. And download button it’s not showing.
So. I’ve had Plex Pass since 2010 and I’ve shared my Plex with my brother in law since 2013. He should still be able to use the download function without him getting his own Plex Pass? If so, that is not working for him.

The advantage of grandfathered accounts should be that. To share with non Plex pass user and still can be able to download on the share. But that option is not working. They said that they fixed that on 2 releases ago but no download button at all.

If you can get the log from their app after signing out and back in, that might reveal why something is broken.
Also, earlier you said it’s your server. Your account on here doesn’t show you have a Plex Pass. Are you using a different account for your server?
Yes. This is not my server account.
But it’s not just in one account. It’s on all accounts share. I have a Plex pass server from 2012. And some shares without Plex pass. All of them don’t show the download button. And before this big update all of them was showing download button. This big update crashed the download button. Just don’t show.
Server with Plex pass created before 2022.
Client with no Plex pass but created account before 2022.
Plex downloads has to work. It’s on the rules of Plex.
Updated to version iOS 2025.14.0 (1037). Download button still don’t showing. And when transcoding movies, the subtitles become huge. Don’t understand how can mess so much from the old stable 8.45 version. Seems like everything is wrong. Every update has problems.. don’t understand how the Plex guys don’t see obvious things that I only need one minute after install to see that is wrong.
Same here updated for the 4 Th time and still missing this feature.

The old app used to provide the information on if the user account was allowed to download or not. I haven’t checked the logs in the new app to know if the same info is there. If you can get me the log from someone where this isn’t working, I can check for that info.
