Is there any way to get Plax to direct stream video greater than 20Mbit? I have the space and would like to view my BD movies natively rather than having Plax transcode them down to < 20Mbit.
Thoughts?

I agree, I would like to have greater then 20Mbit limit.
media player app will play these via plex dlna without transcoding
This is not my experience with the XBOX One app. when I try to stream an M2TS file that is ~50mbit, the transcoder kicks in for the video. when I look at the log files I see the transcoder is used due to a limit of 20mbit.
using the media player app?
any update on this, having to switch to the media player app to play videos above 20 mb bitrate is a bit annoying. and it seems that the media player app handles them fine so unless I'm missing something this seems like a plex fix.
This might be why some, but not all films with dts stutter for me... although I've checked cpu load, and bandwidth load, and neither are an issue... historically I have been able to play 4 fully transcoded 1080p streams, and one 720p one at the same time.
there should be a "DIRECT STREAM" that way no transcode is done! or a "LOCAL" stream would be nice!
I would like to see this option as well!
So why is it that plex dlna through xbox media player doesn't transcode but the plex app does?
The 20mbps limit throughout all of plex's applications is incredibly frustrating and seemingly an arbitrary limitation with todays hardware.
