@markus101, adding you here because I see that you post announcements for the latest releases of Plex for webos.

Can you help us understand:

  1. has Plex accepted that a Grid Guide should be implemented for Webos?
  2. Is this feature being tracked somewhere?
  3. Is there a potential timeline to adding the feature?

Thank you for responding @markus101. I hope the ETA is sooner than later, my girlfriend loves the Plex Guide interface on her Roku, This would unify the feel when she is at my place.

This should be added to WebOS, and Samsung Smart TV’s. Watching tv on them is pain W/O grid guide.

Glad to see it’s on the development path. Just got a new LG tv last week and was very surprised to not see the guide available. Looking forward to the implementation.

Ok looks like I’ll have to go with Emby, smh. This derails my hardware consolidation efforts.

Though it might not be a bad thing to have both lifetime pases and just use the best of both worlds so no issue since I was already looking at Emby for some other conveniences.

+1 for this feature. It is too hard to find the desired channel amongst 50 channels without a TV guide. The “what’s on” tab is not enough, unfortunately.

Great job, Plex! With this preview, I started using my HD Homerun and gave it a try on plex Live TV again. The Guide looks nice and have been working well, mostly! One glitch that I founf is that one time I couldnt watch a channel that was on the guide. I hit enter and nothing would happen. Other channels would work. To make sure it wasnt an issue with the antenna reception or anything else, I used plex on my iphone and through the guide I could watch the channel that wasnt possible to watch on the LG TV. Rebooted Plex and the TV a few times, but didnt fix. I gave up and a few hours later I did manage to watch that channel, selecting it from the guide. Keep up the good work!
