Grid View for Episodes on Roku

When the Roku UI experience was upgraded, there was plenty to like, except for one thing.

Viewing TV episodes is only possible on a horizontal row? Is this right? Isn’t there any way to restore a grid view so that we can at least navigate episodes a little more efficiently? Any season with more than 10 episodes becomes a slog to try and get through by holding the right button down and waiting for the UI to get to the episode I want.

Come on, just give us the option again! Please!

I agree. The same is true for the Fire TV app.

The new interface is more “modern” looking, but the grid view was much easier to use. Sometimes functionality should outweigh flashy. It’s a total pain to have to scroll through all the episodes to get to the newest unwatched one. And defaulting to the “Play” button when you go into a season is even worse, since there’s a lot of shows I don’t always watch in order (science / documentary / home improvement), so then I have to waste even more time going up to the list of shows, then scrolling through to find one I want to watch.
