I follow a daily show that I add to Plex in a series library. I also add other shows to the same library but very less frequently. The way Plex adds them to “Recently added” is one tile per show if they are added more than 20 hours apart. Since this daily runs at the same time everyday, then they get added to single tiles in Recently added and pushing all other series off the visible screen giving this result:
So I removed the episodes, scanned the Library and emptied thrash. Then re-added the episodes and scanning again with only the last four episodes as unplayed all under the same tile leaving space for other previously added shows to be seen on screen giving this result:
So now, asking the powers at be, is it possible to make Plex add an episode to the same series tile and push it in front as last added with an added tag of unplayed episodes?

I think it doesn’t make much sense to do so. The “Recently added” section is basically timeline of what order a show/episode was added. If it took older episodes from a week ago and moved them up in front of the episodes that came after them, it is misleading to the timeline.
What I wish the recently added section did, though, is list the number of episodes added when it DOES combine episodes. For example in your image, you must have added episodes 51-54 within a day for it to combine into “Season 6”.
Edit for your edit: I think I might like that idea. a simple link to the show itself rather than the episode itself when an episode is added.
I like your idea. Problem is, we’re in the minority, and adding only a few tv shows (or episodes) a couple of times a week puts us in the low priority section of things that Plex could improve. People that add several episodes and shows daily will never see the problems we do, and may not even want it…
Your suggestion is somewhat similar to a feature request I made back in November, 2017. That feature request evolved from several posts I made with pictures showing the exact same thing you’ve tried to show. ( I can’t find those posts, but I’m sure they’re here somewhere)
Yes, I finally found a request made by fearlessleader after posting this, I edited and added a link to the request.
It could be something like adding an option " Group episodes together in recently added " in the advanced tab under Library settings for those that want it.
Like I said, I had removed all episodes and rescanned then added them back in one go. Then I marked the last four episodes as unplayed to get the look I wanted.
Just for info, this daily has 120 episodes per season, so recently added gets pretty ugly pretty fast.
